18.55 French, Ormolu, Server Style,8 day Clock.

Its nice to see a clock with everything still as it should be after a 150 years.

18.55 has been stamped on the movement and the case has a makers make of around the same age so all is good.

Thomas Husband Longcase clock

Thomas Husband from hull This is a nice example of his work.He died in 1812.
Tidal indication, subsidiary seconds dial and date dial. The little painting looks nicely done.
I have not seen its case yet but he was renowned for his pagoda style cases so i would like to think its got one at home.

Longcase Service

ummmm its ok me saying a price to clean and service a clock but i need to clear all this away to see any damage so your final bill can go up i just loose money other wise

I Need to put new bushes in after polishing the pivots. you normally get a bit more space I do 3 bushes for free in the service and after that they will be charged for so if a clock has not had a clean for 20 odd years this might take place .

I am getting there, need to get the date detent back on the wheel. as its broken of . Its been happy ticking away over night so thats always good to see.

Joseph Thristle

Longcase. 30 hour made By J Thristle. These are a nice made clock I have serviced 4 Thristles now.  I like this one as it has a nice brass Dial, which is always  a bonus as the paint doesn't crack and fall of and is worth more.

Its a little bit on the dirty side but i have seen worse. Made in good old Somerset.I will post a few more pictures when finished.
