Samuel Marti was the clock maker.1900

A nice looking clock. I will post a few more pictures when i strip the movement down .Oil has gone a bit hard in the pinions and there is a split in the spring so it will be changed.

Junghans mantle Clock

 
Junghans mantle clock. Broken spring and a service.The cost of a service is normally over £100 depending on the clock and anything after the normal service that i find broken or to far gone might be charged for. I do try to keep to the price i quote

All clean , need to pop the new springs in and get it back together.

Japy Freres

 Japy freres movement . It has a few problem why it will not work. To start with. Its really dirty so i have got to clean that away first.

I have got to replace all these detents.

 The hour wheel has had an old bad repair. It might be best to replace that or make good we will see.

Movement plates clean. Now for everything else. The movement was in pretty bad condition but i am starting to see through the trees now.

French boudoir time piece

French boudoir time piece, all serviced and back in its case.

Fusee Line Broken

 
What happens is the line breaks and spins very quick, normally causing some damage.There is a picture of one of your pivots all scored and scratched up so i will polish all that out. All fusee lines wear out and could end up being costly.

New Fusee Line I have made. I will pop it on after i have given the clock a service. It has over a 10 stone breaking strain so i will be happy to think it will not break

Oil has gone of so the movement needs a clean.The bushes should of been the same thickness as the plate.

The Spring is damaged I need to replace the spring

Before a service

Pinions are worn and have a little damage. If i need to replace any of them, it will be around £1oo. Each one.So you can see how the price can go up the longer a clock is left without a service.
