Japy Freres made clocks in Paris winning numerous medals between 1819 and 1844, this clock is stamped with the gold medal award in 1855 making this clock a very fine example
This is a Clients clock that is currently in the process of being serviced and cleaned, in order to bring it back to an "as new" status.
The picture in fact does it no justice, it is a beautiful clock that is well sought after, and has retained its value over the years. It has an alarm, and strikes which strikes on the hour and half hour, and has a repeating mechanism, and second hand.
My Client will be seeking a new owner upon completion of the service, and the clock will subsequently come with a six month guarantee.
